The Story of (QCD) Quality Crafts by Deborah

I am a crafter.

I started my company as “miniatureChristmas,” on etsy in 2014.  I have since sold my products at craft fairs and farmer’s markets. I am no longer associated with etsy.

To start, I took tiny objects that my parents collected from around the world to use to decorate tabletop trees. I have done everything from 5 inch trees to 48 inch trees that all have themes like Christmas and other holidays and everyday themes. From there I included cross-stitch ornaments and small wreaths, which also, got bigger. Then I rediscovered the latch hook craft. With this I started small with pillows, then wall decorations, the rugs, some quite large. After that I discovered a craft called Diamond Art, which comes in kits in a large variety of sizes. Again, I started small then worked my way up to large wall decorations. I now have other products that I decorate with diamond art, such as scarves, bags, door hangers, aprons, and small containers. 

With the variety of crafts I do now, I decided in 2022 to change my company name to “Quality Crafts by Deborah,” which is now officially my  company name.

I will always find more crafts to do that I hope will be as popular as my main crafts are now. I just have to ask myself, can I do them at the best quality? Do I expect that people will want them? My trees, wreaths, etc. are totally my own design, but so far I have just worked kits on other the crafts. I plan on doing my own designs soon.
